Tannoy Westminster GR Speaker is the largest speaker model in the line. Prestige GR, with dimensions of 395 x 980 x 560 mm, suitable for large spaces. The inside of the speaker cabinet is reinforced with horizontal braces to increase stiffness and reduce vibration to eliminate resonance for quality sound.

The speaker box is meticulously and carefully handcrafted, using birch plywood panels with delicately carved lines, contributing to affirming the class and value of this speaker line. The entire surface is covered with walnut wood grain paint, creating luxury and class for the product.

Brand new speaker

Like other speaker lines of Tannoy, Westminster GR also uses the company's exclusive coaxial technology, which operates on the principle of homophonic waves, allowing the sound ranges to all originate on the same axis so that the sound reaching the listener's ears will be reproduced in the most natural way. This pair of speakers is designed with 2 channels with 2 speakers including 1 mid/bass speaker and 1 tweeter. The quality of the speaker has been improved a lot compared to previous speaker lines, increasing the accuracy and clarity of the sound.

The tweeter is designed with a size of 52mm placed in the throat of the mid/bass speaker, slightly behind to create phase coherence between the two sound ranges so that the sound reaches the listener's ears at the same time for a more realistic and clear sound. Moreover, instead of using a titanium speaker membrane as before, the company has now replaced it with an aluminum-magnesium alloy combined with an alnicol alloy magnet core to increase clarity and accuracy.

The mid/bass speaker is designed with very high durability, the speaker membrane is designed in a cone shape with a size of 380mm, taking on the sharp bass range down to the extremely low frequency of 18Hz. The traditional speaker membrane with 2 embedded ribs is now increased in stiffness with fiber material, which is lightweight and easily responds to frequency changes. This helps the speaker improve dynamics extremely well, reduces distortion, making the sound more natural and of better quality.

High quality crossover

The crossover plays an extremely important role in dividing the frequencies for each speaker, so the speaker is Tannoy improve the crossover, replace audiophile components to ensure accuracy for the frequency bands.
