Coaxial speaker

Tannoy Cheviot speakers use coaxial speaker technology with 1 mid/bass driver for mid and low range combined with 1 internal treble driver in charge of high range.

The mid/bass driver is 30cm in size, designed with a paper tray and 2 impregnated cloth rolls surrounding it, using a 5.2cm voice coil. The 3.3cm treble driver has a dome diaphragm, made from aluminum and magnesium alloy, which is light and hard, helping the high-range sound to be smooth and not distorted.

Thanks to this coaxial speaker system, the Tannoy Cheviot's output sound is natural and authentic across a wide frequency range.

Live sound

Tannoy Cheviot speakers have a continuous capacity of 125W and can reach a maximum of 500W, responding to a wide frequency range of 38Hz - 30kHz, providing warm, detailed bass sound, suitable for reproducing many different music genres.

Crossover board

The crossover adjustment panel is located on the front. If you want to adjust this, just remove the pin and change the position to the mode you want.

If you adjust the top knob, the energy level of the treble bands in the range of 1kHz – 30kHz will be adjusted, and the bottom knob is to adjust the treble roll-off with 5 levels +2, level (keep the same), -2, -4 and -6dB in the range of 5kHz – 30kHz. When in default mode, the knobs are all in the “level” position, at this time the speaker’s response will be the flattest and most linear.
