Monitor Audio R90HD Black Gloss Speaker

The Monitor Audio R90HD is equipped with a proprietary MMPII woofer with a 100 mm cone made of polypropylene with the addition of a metal chip. This speaker was developed using computer simulations, and has a new magnetic system with increased linearity of the field. The metal in the diffuser material serves to eliminate internal resonances, and also gives the speaker and a stylish appearance.

The special tying type connection of the speaker is made by a long screw, passing through the column body, serving for better vibration isolation, in addition, this screw itself plays the role of an internal coupling, increasing the level of AC damping.

The Monitor Audio R90HD tweeter features a gold-plated 25mm C-CAM dome and is equipped with a lightweight voice coil, which improves the detail and transparency of the tweeter's sound. The R90HD's decoupling filter uses premium components, including polypropylene capacitors, as well as air-core inductors.

For the internal connection of all AC components, custom-made oxygen-free copper cables with high purification level have been used. For the convenience of wall mounting, there is a special metal molding frame on the speaker housing.

The Monitor audio R90HD speaker system has a very smooth response across the entire operating frequency range and its impedance will remain stable, not falling below 5 ohms, safe for any amplifier. Due to the small size of the front structure, the Radius R90HD has an extended radiation pattern and can form an attractive stereo pattern even when listening close. Even with high power inputs, the speaker sound does not have any stray sounds, including from the bass reflex side.
