The Fyne Audio F500 is a pure, beautiful Bookshelf speaker that has left a lasting impression since its launch. The Fyne Audio F500 is 325mm high, 200mm wide, and 318mm deep – an ideal size for small listening rooms and home use.

Structure and features of F500

To accommodate the F500 bookshelf speaker's size, Fyne Audio has removed the second woofer. However, the company has retained the appropriate and good drivers for the remaining speaker. This means that the Fyne Iso Flare configuration now has a tweeter in the mid/bass driver group, a 1mm titanium dome compression tweeter inside a 1cm multifilament paper cone, and shares a common center point to help with stereo directivity.

The diagonal wires are also not purely decorative, but are designed to destroy cone energy and reduce color.

Many people wonder if there is a reflex port on the back of the Fyne Audio F500 speaker. In fact, this port is located under the speaker, using Bass Trax technology (similar to the F501s speaker). There is also a down firing port, Bass Trax Tractix cone diffuser that helps the sound waves to be dispersed 360 degrees, increasing flexibility when arranging the speaker in positions behind the wall.
